Khloé Kardashian Returns with a New Reality Series on Hulu
Reality TV is about to get another dose of Kardashian-style drama—this time with a twist. Khloé Kardashian has announced a brand-new series in development at Hulu, just three years after the launch of The Kardashians on the streaming platform.
Khloé revealed the project during Hulu’s Get Real House event on April 22, describing it as “very exciting, very new, very excellent.” She’s not alone—Hulu and Disney execs are equally thrilled to expand their partnership with one of reality television’s most iconic stars.
Inside “Calabasas Behind the Gates”
Tentatively titled “Calabasas Behind the Gates,” the series will pivot the spotlight away from the Kardashian-Jenner family and shine it on their extended social circle—friends, neighbors, and the influential residents of their exclusive Calabasas, California enclave.
“We all want to know what goes on behind the gates,” said Rob Mills, Disney’s head of reality content. “This is about the people you see in the background of their lives—those who make up the world of Calabasas.”
The show is expected to explore life beyond the main cast, offering a fresh perspective while keeping that signature Kardashian glamour and drama intact.
Will the Kardashians Appear?
When asked if Kris Jenner, Kim, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie, or Rob Kardashian will join the cast, Khloé remained tight-lipped. Even Scott Disick, who was at the event, didn’t confirm his involvement.
Still, fans may see familiar faces pop up, as the Kardashians remain deeply woven into the fabric of Calabasas life.
Khloé did, however, express hope that Rob Kardashian will return to their main Hulu show, The Kardashians. “I really do,” she said. “I always have my faith and confidence in Rob.”
Equal Pay and Creative Control
Khloé shared a few behind-the-scenes secrets about filming The Kardashians, including the fact that the family ensures equal pay across the board and has editorial control over their portrayal.
“We’re allowed to cut things we don’t like,” she admitted. “But it’s usually vanity things.”
As for who edits the most? That honor goes to Kourtney Kardashian, though not for drama-related reasons. “She’ll say, ‘I say ‘like’ too many times,’ so she’ll ask for that to be removed,” Khloé said during her Call Her Daddy podcast appearance on April 16.
Khloé’s TV Legacy Continues
This new Hulu project marks Khloé’s return to solo-format reality TV, following her previous success with Revenge Body With Khloé Kardashian in 2017. With this latest concept, she’s not just a star—she’s a creative force shaping the future of unscripted entertainment.
