Lady Gaga has made her engagement to entrepreneur Michael Polansky official, gracing the red carpet together at the 2024 Venice International Film Festival. The couple, who have been together for over four years, stepped out to support the premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux, marking a significant milestone in their relationship.
Gaga, 38, stunned in a bold black Christian Dior Haute Couture gown paired with a striking avant-garde headpiece by Philip Treacy. Polansky kept it classic in a simple tuxedo, perfectly complementing his superstar fiancée. The duo posed for the cameras, with Polansky holding Gaga's left hand, revealing her impressive engagement ring, while wrapping his other arm around her waist.
Also present at the premiere were Joker 2 star Joaquin Phoenix and director Todd Phillips. The night not only celebrated the film but also Gaga and Polansky's much-anticipated red carpet debut, after months of engagement rumors.
Their engagement was first hinted at in July 2024, when a video surfaced from the Paris Olympics showing Gaga introducing Polansky as her fiancé to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. The clip sparked widespread speculation, which has now been confirmed with this glamorous public appearance.
The couple, who have been dating since early 2020, have largely kept their relationship private, though Gaga did call Polansky "the love of my life" in an interview shortly after going Instagram official in February of that year.
In addition to promoting Folie à Deux, which is set to hit theaters on October 4, Lady Gaga is gearing up for new music. She recently collaborated with Bruno Mars on the single "Die With a Smile," which topped the Billboard Global 200, and is teasing the release of her highly anticipated seventh album, with the first single expected to drop in October.
