PUMA has once again joined forces with renowned Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, this time to celebrate the Lunar New Year with a futuristic-themed collection. Following their collaboration for PUMA's 75th anniversary, the duo presents an array of apparel, accessories, and footwear that seem to transcend time, all inspired by the upcoming Year of the Dragon.
The collection, which is part of PUMA's Select division, features a variety of ready-to-wear items including jackets, graphic hoodies, and woven pants, each adorned with Sorayama's unique interpretation of the mythical dragon. Highlight pieces include the SUKAJAN Jacket, which boasts a robotic dragon embroidered on the back, and hoodies that feature the dragon design extending along the sleeves.
In the footwear department, Sorayama has reimagined the PUMA Spirex and PUMA Palermo models, infusing them with a futuristic flair. Both shoes are finished in a metallic silver, reminiscent of Sorayama's artistic vision of the dragon, with the Spirex featuring the hue throughout its athletic frame and the Palermo showcasing a metallic UV photochromic upper paired with a translucent rubber sole.
Completing the collection, the accessories lineup includes a co-branded sling bag and a four-panel cap enhanced with reflective piping, adding a functional yet stylish edge to the futuristic theme.
The PUMA x Sorayama Lunar New Year collection is now available at PUMA flagship stores and selected retailers, offering a glimpse into a visionary blend of tradition and futurism.
