Acqua di Parma Yellow Café in Seoul: A Fusion of Italian Elegance and Korean Dynamism

Acqua Di Parma, the iconic Italian Maison, has extended its reach to Seoul, South Korea, with the opening of the Acqua di Parma Yellow Café. This new venture embodies a unique blend of Italian heritage and Milanese creativity, brought to life through the visionary design of Dorothée Meilichzon. The café, situated at Lotte Avenuel Jamsil B1F, offers more than just a culinary experience; it invites guests into the heart of the Maison's rich aesthetic and heritage.

Dorothée Meilichzon's design approach for the Acqua di Parma space in Korea is a celebration of cultural amalgamation and vibrant design. The project aimed to forge a connection between Italy's architectural legacy, with a strong emphasis on Milanese design, and Seoul's energetic ambiance. Meilichzon found inspiration in the Memphis movement and paid tribute to Italy's monumental architecture, including white stone structures, arches, vaults, and porticos, symbolizing timeless elegance. These elements converge in a space that serves as both a cultural exchange and a bold design statement, perfectly marrying the Italian charm with Seoul's dynamic spirit.
